Nasciamo dalla madre Terra e a lei ritorniamo. Riceviamo vita e nutrimento da tutto ciò che ci ha preceduto, stratificandosi sulla terra. La danza con gli elementi è una preghiera ai nostri antenati, la cui memoria giace nelle profondità del nostro corpo.
La masterclass è concepita come un’introduzione ai principi di Jinen, l’antica parola shinto che designa lo “Spirito della Natura”. Non richiede alcuna esperienza pregressa di danza Butoh ed è aperta a danzatori, attori, terapeuti e praticanti di tutte le discipline del movimento.
La masterclass si svolge in lingua inglese.
Domenica sera, il lavoro si concluderà con una performance collettiva dei partecipanti, condotta da Atsushi.
La masterclass è preceduta, la sera di giovedì 9 ottobre, dalla performance HANA (花) di Atsushi Takenouchi con musiche originali di Hiroko Komiya. Prenotazione obbligatoria, ingresso € 15.
We are born from Mother Earth and return to Her. We stand upon the death of all those lives that have returned to this earth, and we are alive. The body opens wide the doors of ancient memory that lie in the depths of your body.
The masterclass does not require any previous experience of Butoh dance and is conceived as an introduction to the principles of Jinen, the ancient Shinto word meaning "the Spirit of Nature". It is open to performers, dancers, actors, therapists, movers and anyone who wishes to unlock their own inner movement through the body.
The masterclass is held in English language.
On Sunday evening, the work will conclude with a collective performance conducted by Atsushi.
The masterclass is opened by the HANA (花) performance by Atsushi Takenouchi with original music by Hiroko Komiya, on the evening of Thursday 9th October. Reservation is required, ticket €15.
